My Story
My name is Giuseppe De Lorenzo, and I started trading in 2019 after becoming interested in the markets with no real idea of where to begin. I opened a brokerage account and searched online for the best stocks to buy. My first trade doubled overnight. I sold for a profit and immediately bought another stock pick I found online, which also nearly doubled within a day or two. Everything felt effortless.
Soon after, I discovered options and learned just enough to place a trade. That first options trade turned $100 into $5,950 overnight. I bought at market close and sold the next morning at the open. You might think that sounds unbelievable or extremely lucky, but in reality it was the worst thing that could have happened to me. It put me in the mindset that no matter what I bought, it would make money.
Not long after, the losses began. I had no strategy, no risk management, and no real structure. Losing felt brutal after getting used to easy wins. Most of my trades started ending in losses, and I could not understand why. I was studying markets constantly and spent most of my time reading and learning about trading, yet I continued to lose money. The more effort I put in, the worse the results seemed to become.
Eventually, trading consumed me. I stopped enjoying time with friends and lost interest in things I once loved. I jumped from strategy to strategy and from guru to guru, searching for an answer. No matter what I tried, the losses continued. I could not understand how I could love trading so deeply and still be so bad at it.
It took until 2022 to finally turn a corner. Four years of struggle, wasted time, mental exhaustion, and losses before things truly began to click. By that point, I was not the same person who started trading in 2019. My expectations had changed, my view of trading had matured, and my outlook on life was different. Trading changes you at your core. It forces you to confront yourself and brings out weaknesses and emotions you may not even realize are there.
I am not perfect and never will be. I continue to learn and study the markets every day. Today, my focus is on helping people who feel stuck, just as I once did. People who are struggling to find direction, consistency, and a system that makes sense. My goal is to help you avoid the mistakes, dead ends, wasted time, and unnecessary losses that defined my early years in trading.
